this was my log of the Giants game that was supposed to be the game of the week:

The Seahawks’s attack on the NY Giants defence looks roughly equivalent to Pele taking penalty shots against a quadriplegic.

Plaxico Burress looks angry. If you painted a broomstick black and put a diamond on it, you’d get the idea, providing the broomstick has 4.3 speed.

Eli’s last pass was touched by three Seahawk defenders – and not one Giant – before falling incomplete. One of the Seattle players was Boulware, a DE/OLB who was in deep coverage. If you can’t outthrow the DE, I don’t know what to say.

How many days do you think it took Deion Branch to plow a Seahawks cheerleader? I’d say the over/under is 4.

38-0 at half. I don’t know who should be more embarrassed: the NY Giants organization or the Seattle GM who gave up a 1st rounder for Branch to shore up his anemic offence.

Why is this guy with the moustache in all these Chrysler ads? And why are people letting him talk to children?

While searching for people’s week 3 picks to upload to the blog, I came across a professional sports pick pro (two for the money-esque, he even had a photo of him with Al Pacino and Matthew Mcconaghey) his pick of the week was the 49ers over the Eagles. Currently, the Eagles are up 24-3 at half. It’s no 38-0, but jesus, how does Mr. pacinoganay make any money?

“Can the Giants do it two weeks in a row: another second half comeback?” No. Stop saying that. Just go to commercial. Go.

“Seattle is beating them in every way you can beat a team.” Thank you Troy Aikman.

Eli: 65 yards, no TDs, 3 picks.
Hasselbeck: 176 yards, 4 TD, no picks.
Eli is officially being made a bitch of.

Not off to a good start. Burress has been benched. Tiki Barber gets the ball on first down, no yards. Second down, Grant Wistrom takes down Barber. Loss of five yards. Then Eli gets scared and calls a Timeout. When they finally take the 3rd and 15 snap – after a long commercial break – a 40-yard pass to Tim Carter just drops out of his hands. He would have scored if he could have caught the pass, which literally hit him in the hands. Great start. Net yards: -5. One timeout spent. Good drive.

I found The Great Outdoors on TV. I’ve given up on Eli.
