Chargers over Raiders
What happened to LT?
Chicago over Jacksonville
Jacksonville hasn't beaten any non-Detroit team in two months. And yet they've beaten the Colts and the Broncos? Still. Bears.
Minnesota over Detroit
It pains me.
Colts over Bengals
Playing incredibly well.
Giants over Eagles
This will be a decent game, and I would have had a harder time calling it a while back. I considered switching -- no Burress, Philly played well last week -- but then realized that would be ridiculous. New York.
Titans over Browns
Cleveland's down to its third-string quarterback, and has scored six points in each of the last two weeks. Yikes. Tennessee.
Saints over Falcons
They're very good at home.
Green Bay over Houston
I sat on this one for a while. They have the same records and Houston has won two in a row... but Houston doesn't win on the road, and it's Lambeau in December. There's no QB on that roster who has played in cold.
Christ, this was tough. Packers.
Miami over Buffalo
Miami in the balmy Rogers Stadium in Toronto.
Jets over San Francisco
Another of the volatile up-and-down AFC teams.
Patriots over Seahawks
Another game more difficult to call previously.
Denver over Kansas City
The AFC West is not what it once was.
Arizona over St. Louis
With losses to two good teams, it's back to winning against shitty ones for Kurt Warner.
Dallas over Pittsburgh
They're playing well, and that Steelers offence is just sputtering. Dallas will have also had 10 days rest. Romo is playing well. It will only be around the freezing point, so not that cold yet.
And the last time an NFC east team walked into Pittsburgh, they won. Easily. Dallas has a good record against a much better division.
Do i sounds like I'm convincing myself? Yes. You've got to take long-shots when you're down 4.5
Ravens over Redskins
Giants, Colts, Titans and Steelers. What do these teams have in common? They're good. Very good. And they're who Baltimore has lost to.
Cleveland (x2), Cincinnati (x2), Miami, Oakland, Houston and Philadelphia have lost to the Ravens. Not particularly the strongest of records.
On the other hand, Baltimore is 4-1 at home, including the only win that's impressive -- Philly. This is like NY vs NY though, in terms of travel distance, so I don't put too much weight in that. The Ravens are just across the Potomac river from the 'Skins.
Meanwhile, Washington hasn't lost on the road since Week 1 -- against the NY Giants. Again I don't put too much weight in that.
The question boils down to which team will play best this week. With Portis hurting, and the Ravens winners of four and five, that may be the Ravens.
Panthers over Tampa Bay
Carolina hasn't lost at home all season. Tampa has only beat Detroit, KC and Chicago on the road. Booyah.
