Fucckkkkk
That one week really effed me... down 5.5 in one swing. Blame it on my mom's voicemail that day, I guess. Or at least I will.
Down 3.5

Just 1!

Giants (Patrick) @ Steelers (Josh)

Good one to watch too.
Good luck!
Okay, up 2.5, here goes week...8? I think it's 8.
(it's 8)

Baltimore over Oakland
Easy.

Carolina over Arizona
I like the Cardinals, and this might be an upset, but it's in Carolina, and apparently they're a good team.

Tampa Bay over Dallas
I just can't give the 'boys credit after last week. Also: No Romo.

Washington over Detroit
Do the lions have a win in them this season?

Buffalo over Miami
Good defenses can deal with the Wildcat.

New England over St. Louis
They both looked good last week over good teams, so I'll take the QB that looked better.

San Diego over New Orleans
I don't think the trip affects anything. No Bush? No way.

Jets over Kansas City
Easy.

Philadelphia over Atlanta
I guess I'll take the home team here, they seem pretty even.

Jacksonville over Cleveland
I still like the Jags, but they're having a bad year...

Houston over Cincinnati
Next...

Giants over Pittsburgh
Should be fun to watch. This will test and see if the Giants are for real. I think so.

San Fran over Seattle
Not gonna watch this one.

Tennessee over Indy
Good running over bad run defense. Not even Manning can pull this out.

Here are my picks. There are some tough calls this week!
Josh

Tampa Bay at Dallas
Well, this is tough. I have no idea how this will pan out. Dallas lost to St. Louis. St. Louis? If Brad Johnson can't score on that defence, he won't score on Tampa's. Bucs.

Washington at Detroit
Redskins.

Buffalo at Miami
Bills.

St. Louis at New England
It'll be a two-game winning streak - only. Patriots.

San Diego at New Orleans
I looked at this one for a long time. I think in London, it'll come down to running, and San Diego was better at that. They're also playing better teams as of late, so their record was harder. I don't know, but I'll say: Chargers.

Kansas City at NY Jets
Jets.

Atlanta at Philadelphia
Their record is worse, but they're at home, coming off a bye, are far healthier, and the coach and quarterback never lose after byes and to Atlanta, respectively. Eagles.

Arizona at Carolina
Still one of the best teams, and Arizona doesn't seem to win on the road.

Oakland at Baltimore
Ravens.

Cleveland at Jacksonville
No Kellen, seemingly in disarray, and the Jags are at home and had a bye. Jaguars.

Cincinnati at Houston
Texans.

NY Giants at Pittsburgh
Man there are some good games this week. They're getting Parker back. Steelers.

Seattle at San Francisco
49ers.

Indianapolis at Tennessee
Jacksonville, Cincnatti, Houston, Minnesota, Baltimore, and Kansas City. They haven't yet played a good team. But Indianapolis is hurting, and averaging awful, awful totals on the run. Which sucks, because Tennessee will be running. And if Peyton tries to pass, he'll meet the #1 pass defence in the NFL. Titans.

This is weird. I'm cheering for the Patriots to earn a split this week, and for the Broncos because they're THE BEST TEAM EVER. I just don't feel they'll be the better team tonight.

Update: Win. That's a 2-2 split this week, which leaves you 2+tie up. Let's call that 2.5 to keep it straight. Patrick is up 2.5

Sunday, October 19, 2008

So you were down two going into two weeks ago, then lost the only one that week, putting you down three.
I got all four disputed ones wrong last week, plus a late penalty, is a swing of five. (keeping in mind a tie goes to you).
That leaves me down two to be even, but down three to win.

There are four games this week, including you taking my Broncos. Jeez. AND I HAVE HALF AN HOUR TO SPARE!

San Diego (Josh) at Buffalo (Patrick) (PAT)
New Orleans (Patrick) at Carolina (Josh) (JOSH)
Baltimore (Patrick) at Miami (Josh) (PAT)
Denver (Patrick) at New England (Josh) (JOSH)
San Diego over Buffalo
Minnesota over Chicago
Pittsburgh over Cincinnati
Tennessee over Kansas City
Dallas over St. Louis
Miami over Baltimore
Giants over San Francisco
Carolina over New Orleans
Houston over Detroit
Indianapolis over Green Bay
Jets over Oakland
Washington over Cleveland (why not?)
Tampa over Seattle
New England over Denver (I know)

I am going to do this early.

Chicago at Detroit
This should be an easy one. Bears.

Atlanta at Green Bay
Another. Packers.

San Diego at Miami
And another. Chargers.

Seattle at NY Giants
And another. Giants.

Washington at Philadelphia
Ah, the first test. Westbrook is limping, Philly's record is worse, and they lost to Dallas, whom the 'Skins beat. Also, the Skins have won three in a row. Redskins.

KC at Carolina
Should be easier. Panthers.

Tennessee at Baltimore
Though I think the Ravens will give them a run for their money... Titans.

Indianapolis at Houston
Two under performing teams. Colts.

Tampa Bay at Denver
I have a feeling you'll take a gamble here on the Bucs. I'll stick to my guns. Broncos.

Cincinnati at Dallas
Easy. Cowboys.

Buffalo at Arizona
Surprisingly undefeated, and Boldin is out. Bills.

New England at San Francisco
Pats.

Pittsburgh at Jacksonville
I don't share your thoughts that they're overrated, though the tailback situation is a concern. Steelers.

Minnesota at New Orleans
Minnesota's losses have come against great teams, and by close margins. They've handed the Panthers their only loss. I'll take your team. Vikings.
